Haulix Weekly Update #29 – Music Industry Rust Cohle Is Our Spirit Animal

Hello, everyone. If you are reading this then you need to take a few moment in the near future and pat yourself on the back. It is Friday, after all, and that means you have successfully made it through another work week. Whether you’re grinding away at your dreams, or doing something to make ends meet until the world catches up to your vision, we applaud you for sticking it out. Life is for the living, as they say, and no one ever realized their wildest dreams while sitting idle at home.

Today, just like every Friday for the past seven months, we are taking a break from the usual routine of informative music industry posts to update you on everything going on at Haulix HQ. We are more than a blog after all, and each day we are working hard to better distribute and protect our clients’s media, as well as the artists they represent. If you would like to learn more about the digital distribution services offered by Haulix, click here for a brief tour of our company website. We hit the ground running this week at HQ, and to be honest it’s a little hard to believe we are already staring down the final hours of Friday. No major updates were rolled out this week, but we have begun take steps towards our next big improvement. As always, details as to what that improvement might be must remain slim for the time being, but I would not be surprised if we had an update for you before the beginning of April.

There have been some messages in recent days regarding an issue with the ability to jump to certain points of a song while streaming from desktop and mobile devices. We are currently looking into that issue and are making efforts to correct the problem as quickly as possible.

On the blog end of things, we did our best to work a little overtime in recent days. With SXSW taking place next week in Austin there is a good chance many industry professionals will be busy and/or otherwise unavailable for chats, so our blog team has been putting in extra calls and emails this week to ensure content rolls out without any issue whatsoever.

Speaking of upcoming content, we have a lot of great things in store this month. Our recently launched ‘Journalism Tips’ and ‘How To Kill Your Band’ columns are continuing to gain traction, and in less than two weeks we will debut a brand new featured titled ‘My Life As a Music Pirate.’

If you missed anything this week, a quick list of links to every article posted in recent days can be found below:

That pretty much wraps things up for us this work week. If you need a laugh, spend a little time with Music Industry Rust Cohle.
