Don’t Mind The Mess…

Hello, everyone. If you looked at the web address above you might have noticed that our little blog now has a url all its own. No longer will we be known as ‘blog.haulix.com’ because now we are HaulixDaily.com, your one-stop destination for the latest music industry insight and advice.

In the days and weeks ahead you will notice additional changes begin to take place around the site as we prepare to unveil what we’re currently calling our ‘Year 3′ plan. Our tentative completion date is June 3, the three-year anniversary of this site being born, but if we finish early we certainly won’t complain!

So what else can you expect from this transformation?

For starters, a brand new site design will soon be unveiled. We like the simplicity of our current look, but with three years worth of material, as well as active social networks, we feel a new site more suited to our current efforts is needed. We’re thinking something simple and largely bare bones, but to be honest we haven’t found the perfect look just yet. If you’re a designer, or if you know someone who makes Tumblr themes for cheap, feel free to hit us up on Twitter or through email at james@haulix.com.

We also have a slew of new columns planned, as well as an official newsletter that will keep you up to date with everything we have going on without the need to visit the site day in and day out (though we sincerely hope you continue to do that because it makes us look good and we like doing that).

Our podcast, Inside Music, will evolve as well. The show now has its own Twitter, so please make it a point to follow that account as soon as possible.

PLEASE RESPOND: What would YOU like to see from Haulix Daily as we move forward?
