Haulix Weekly Update #120: “Do not touch Willy. Good advice.”

Hello again, everyone! We hope this message finds you well. February is already a quarter of the way done and we are finally starting to feel like we have a firm grasp on everything we wish to accomplish in the coming months. The new version of Haulix is still a few weeks away from completion, as is the beginning of our numerous live events, but still we are working around the clock to provide you, the consumer, with everything you need to master the world of digital distribution. We like to use Fridays to reflect on everything we have done as of late, but before we get there we wanted to share this track that has been on repeat in our offices this week. Enjoy:

As I mentioned above, each and every weekend we like to take a brief break from our regularly scheduled programming to update and reflect on everything happening at Haulix HQ. We are far more than a music blog, as many of you already know, and posts like this give us an opportunity to share more our efforts with all of you.

Development news:

As we mentioned in the introduction, the long-teased Haulix platform update is still a few weeks from completion, but progress is being made with each passing day. Our company recently switched to Microsoft Azure, which has proven incredibly beneficial. Our costs are lower, but we have more power than ever. The implementation of Azure was the last ‘big piece’ we needed before piecing together the new platform, so it feels safe to say we are finally in the home stretch of this development process.

In non-tech related news, our team used this week to move in to our new offices in downtown Minneapolis. Haulix has existed for over a half a decade, but this week was the first that we had a proper office. We’ve got a nice view…

Blog news:

On the social front of our operations, the previous five days have been some of the more exciting times we have seen as of late. First off, we finally launched an episode of our podcast focused on our efforts to help the people impacted by the Flint Water Crisis through Not Safe To Drink. We also highlighted some brilliant young minds in the industry and wrote hundreds of words advising musicians on how to improve their practice habits.

Did you miss anything this week? If so, head over to our archive and catch up!

That’s all the content we have to share this week. Have a wonderful weekend and make sure you check back here on Sunday for a brand new Job Board.

Best,

Haulix!
