Artist Services Marketing Manager (Live Nation – Beverly Hills) 

The Marketing Manager will lead the building and execution of multi-channel marketing programs for Artist Services.

This role is a key member of our team to help maximize awareness to support Live Nation Touring clients & Artist Nation managers with targeted marketing campaigns to help promote all aspects of our client’s careers, including new music, new videos / movies, charitable endeavors as well as ticketing selling initiatives. Radio Marketing Executive (Black Ltd Broadcasting – Greensboro, NC) 

Radio Marketing Executives undertake a wide range of activities to market the services and products of a radio station, or group of stations, to existing and potential listeners and clients.The aim is to increase brand awareness and loyalty, grow the audience and attract advertisers.This involves a range of analytical and creative marketing activities. The Radio Marketing Executive commissions research and interprets data about radio markets and audiences. They also maintain contact databases. They design and implement promotional campaigns and events that engage audiences and meet client needs. They ensure consistent communication in all marketing activity.

Radio Marketing Executives work closely with colleagues in sales, sponsorship, promotions, events, publicity and programming. They offer insight about audiences and commercial partners so that the station’s output meets audience and client expectations, contributes to building the brand, and maximizes revenue.In commercial radio this role is vital in supporting the work of the sales team as it seeks to maximize advertising and other revenue for the station or group. Radio Marketing Executives may work in a small team for a single station, or as part of a larger regional or national department serving a number of stations or radio brands.Radio Marketing Executives manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.

Although some of their work is office-based, they must also spend time out of the office meeting with key station contacts, gathering information, and assisting with events. This has been a description of the Radio Marketing Executive’s role in Commercial Radio. However, aspects of the role are relevant to BBC Marketing and Communications Managers with responsibilities for radio, as well as Radio Producers or Broadcast Journalists who are responsible for events and promotions on individual stations, and community radio staff or volunteers with marketing responsibility.

Managing Digital Producer, Classical Music (American Public Media – St Paul, MN)

The Managing Digital Producer serves Minnesota Public Radio’s and American Public Media’s digital and classical music services: Classical APM and Classical Minnesota Public Radio. The position is a member of both the digital media team and the classical music programming units. They are completely embedded within our classical music services.The Managing Producer is responsible for using digital technologies to advance the mission and goals of Classical APM programming (including Performance Today, Symphony Cast and others) and Classical Minnesota Public Radio (classicalmpr.org). They play a critical role in growing the service and audience of our digital national classical service YourClasscial.org.

This position helps to develop and manage new and innovative ways to deliver the programming of national and regional music services to digital audiences on the web, through social media channels, such as Facebook and Twitter, email and mobile applications. To achieve that goal, the Managing Producer leads a team that coordinates online work by various members of the classical music services. This position is responsible for the creation of all editorial content to fulfill both content and business needs.

The Managing Producer functions in a matrix organizational structure, working with multiple leaders making it critical to collaborate and coordinate all efforts and in particular, collaborate with all areas on goal alignment.
