The multiple Grammy-winning Legacy Recordings, Sony Music Entertainment’s catalog division, produces and maintains the world’s foremost catalog of historic reissues, an unparalleled compendium of thousands of digitally remastered archival titles representing virtually every musical genre including popular, rock, jazz, blues, R&B, folk, country, gospel, Broadway musicals, movie soundtracks, ethnic, world music, classical, comedy and more. Legacy also maintains official websites for approximately 30 major recording artists, including Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Miles Davis, Ozzy Osbourne and others. Legacy is seeking to hire a Manager, Artist Websites to support the Director, Artist Websites with maintaining such websites, the label’s website, landing pages and other related projects.

Records’ artists and (ii) drive fan acquisition, engagement, and retention across all social media platforms.  The position will be the main artist contact for all digital fan engagement initiatives.

Additionally, the Manager Fan Engagement & Channel Management position will have a high degree of visibility across all company departments and will manage all aspects of specific WBR artists’ social media projects to ensure all details of the initiatives and goals are delivered in a timely and concise manner.  This person will manage timelines, budgets, content/product development, and marketing for the various platforms.

Managing Digital Producer, Classical Music (American Public Media – St Paul, MN) 

Do visions of musical notes and Facebook, mobile and YouTube all fill your head at the same time? For the Managing Digital Producer of Classical Music, they do. The Managing Digital Producer serves Minnesota Public Radio’s and American Public Media’s digital and classical music services: Classical APM and Classical Minnesota Public Radio. The position is a member of both the digital media team and the classical music programming units. They are completely embedded within our classical music services.The Managing Producer is responsible for using digital technologies to advance the mission and goals of Classical APM programming (including Performance Today, Symphony Cast and others) and Classical Minnesota Public Radio (classicalmpr.org). They play a critical role in growing the service and audience of our digital national classical service YourClasscial.org. 

This position helps to develop and manage new and innovative ways to deliver the programming of national and regional music services to digital audiences on the web, through social media channels, such as Facebook and Twitter, email and mobile applications. To achieve that goal, the Managing Producer leads a team that coordinates online work by various members of the classical music services. This position is responsible for the creation of all editorial content to fulfill both content and business needs. 

The Managing Producer functions in a matrix organizational structure, working with multiple leaders making it critical to collaborate and coordinate all efforts and in particular, collaborate with all areas on goal alignment. The goals of the Managing Producer are approved by the Vice President of Digital Media, the Vice President for the Music Services and Managing Director of Classical Music.
