The Detroit Pistons, who recently moved into a brand new arena, are seeking a vital member of the team that will assist with fulfilling department goals of a premiere live entertainment organization. Expected to consistently be engaging current promoters, new promoters and show partners through efficiency, quantifiable results and strong communication. Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of creating preliminary break-even reports to be reviewed by the Executive Team.
  • Interface with agencies, promoters and integral departments to assist in maintaining master calendar of events for all venues.
  • Assist executives in high-level corporate planning through the organization of company-wide strategic planning, scheduling of the NBA calendar and the development of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Update and maintain internal and external documents, including running ticket sales, venue availability, event pipeline and voucher reports.
  • Assists the 313 Presents Executives in day to day administrative support, communication, reports, scheduling, client entertainment and hospitality.
  • Create and maintain all event files, which contain any and all information/communication pertaining to events. Prepare contracts for all events as directed.
  • Work directly with the Corporate Partnership team to fulfill sponsor contract requirements during summer concert season.
  • Coordinate with department executives to plan, purchase and distribute seasonal gifts for all Entertainment VIPs.
  • Update and distribute Ticket Reports (internal, Pollstar summaries, Arena Network Reports.) · Create/update “Budgeted Event” reports.
  • Prepare booking sheets for confirmed events. Distribute to relevant departments. · Deliver cash requests, check requests, and other invoices to Accounting as directed.
  • Collect and process all invoices for the department and individual events.
  • Organize, oversee and be fully responsible for the internal ticket buy program for the Booking Department.
  • Manage comp card requests, approvals and recording within database.
  • Monitor insurance and contract compliance for events (deposits, signed contracts, etc.). Provide weekly tracking and status reports of insurance and contracts for all venues.
  • Create and distribute presentations as needed.
  • Create and process expense reports as needed
  • Create and update weekly sales comparisons for present and past shows to track sales
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends
  • Execute other duties as assigned by supervisors
