Merchandise Retail Managers supervise all merchandise sales operations of the Sound of Music National Tour. October 2018 – June 2019.

The Merchandise Retail Manager will be responsible at each tour venue for setting up the retail sales area, conducting sales, maintaining inventory, and completing administrative reports. The Merchandise Retail Manager will report to one of Araca’s Operations Managers in New York.

Social Media Strategist, Percussion (D’Addario & Company – Brooklyn, NY)

The Social Media Strategist will plan, execute, monitor and continuously adjust D’Addario Percussion’s (Evans, Promark and Puresound) social strategy, across its key social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube). They will develop paid and organic content strategies that grow our communities and drive business, while operating as the primary community manager. They will report to and partner closely with the Strategy + Planning group leads, and collaborate with the Creative and Artist Relations teams to support the objectives of the D’Addario Percussion Business Unit. This position is based in our Brooklyn office, but weekly travel to our Farmingdale headquarters will be required.
Candidates should be passionate about social media, content, and communications strategy, but also be an experienced and passionate drum-set player and/or percussionist, who enjoys talking shop with other players and giving advice.

Create and lead overall podcast and spoken word content strategy for Pandora.

Freelance Sound Engineer (Rayhawk Corporation – Irvine, CA)

We are seeking an experienced freelance Sound Engineer with experience operating a Zoom F8 Multi-Track Field Recorder (or similar multi-track systems). Must also have experience setting up and operating a Tentacle Sync Time-code Generator transmitting from the recorder to (up to) 5 receivers/cameras. We will have 5 separate wireless mic’s (Sennheiser G4 Lav system) into the newer Zoom F8n Recorder. All audio equipment will be provided.

You will be expected to produce both Guitar and Music Tech content, covering all genres, from rock to hip-hop and EDM.

You will be responsible for associated social media activity, making sure that all of the content published is promoted effectively across all channels, in schedule and co-ordination with the UK team’s output. This includes agreeing and chasing shares from artists and manufacturers/distributors for feature content.

As our boots on the ground in the US, you’ll be available to attend and cover events and briefings, alone or alongside the UK team for shows and programmes like NAMM, Summer NAMM and SXSW.

As the champion of our US audience, you will also source, maintain and commission US-based contributors, as well as developing new and strengthening existing relationships with manufacturers, artists and PR.

Music Contract Specialist (Netflix – Los Angeles, CA)
