September, September Mourning, Inside Music, Inside Music Podcast, Emily Lazar

One of entertainment’s most intriguing figures appears on Inside Music to discuss her career and how others can carve a path entirely their own in a crowded marketplace.

Emily Lazar does not like to be pigeonholed. The creative force behind September Mourning, Lazar’s role in entertainment includes her band, comic books, and a wide variety of artistic expression. She has developed a world entirely her own and staked her career on making people not only pay attention to it but in making them want to be a part of it as well.

For those unaware, September Mourning is a dark art media project. It is a multi-faceted expression of Lazar’s creativity that has spawned numerous works, including a musical group that has two releases and several singles filled with melodic, yet crushing metal. Her soaring vocals perfectly pair with her band’s fiery sound, and the results are winning over crowds around the world with each appearance.

On this episode of Inside Music, host James Shotwell calls Lazar to discuss her career, her music, and where she sees the entertainment industry headed in the years to come. September Mourning will next be seen supporting Kottonmouth Kings on their summer tour, and the band will be announcing more plans for 2019 in the near future.
