This role will have a broad responsibility for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a high volume of synchronization and master use license agreements for the use of music in our owned productions. As we produce more and more of our own content, our music repertoire continues to grow and with it the need for expertise around the licensing out of our music to third parties. This role will also work closely with our Music Licensing Team to manage the end-to-end process of licensing out our music to third parties, including drafting and negotiating licenses.

Coordinator, School of Music (Dana Hall School – Wellesley, MA)

Dana Hall School seeks candidates for the position of Coordinator – School of Music. The individual in this position will be accountable for:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for students/families, processing registrations, scheduling music lessons/ensembles and managing inquiries
  • Processing data with accuracy to manage Grades and Comments, student invoicing, purchase orders, faculty payroll, etc.
  • Coordinating attendees, facility and programming detail for student performance events, including recitals and auditions, attending periodically
  • Working closely with diverse Dana Hall functional groups, including the Business Office, Human Resources, Facilities, Academic Administration, faculty, and intern team to support student music lessons at Dana Hall
  • Executing regular informative Music School PR materials, including digital communication and flyers to music faculty, students/families, and the Dana Hall community
  • Supporting the upkeep of the Music School’s instruments, facility, supplies, and general maintenance

Candidates must have 2-4 years of experience in customer service and data management, as well as demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree, as well as experience in music study, is preferred. Other requirements include strong Microsoft Office skills and database management experience. Digital and social media fluency preferred.
